Questions about the Birdhouse Classic
What Wi-Fi does the Classic need?
Any standard 2.4GHz or 5GHz home Wi-Fi network. During setup, connect your phone to the Birdhouse's own Wi-Fi hotspot and choose your home network from there. One-time process.
Can I use the Classic without Wi-Fi?
The Classic requires Wi-Fi to send and receive images. If you need a version that works without internet, check out the Birdhouse Mobile.
What's in the box?
Two Birdhouse Classic units, two USB-C power cables, two privacy caps, and a quick start guide. They come pre-paired to each other.
How much power does it use?
Very little. The camera sleeps when no motion is detected. It draws about as much power as charging a phone — you'll barely notice it on your electricity bill.
